3 best restaurants in scottsdale, az

Scottsdale, a city well-known for its western charm, is part of the Valley of the Sun metropolitan area. From a lovely old town area to the contemporary South Bridge, Scottsdale is making a name for itself as a destination for vacation seekers, golf lovers, and foodies. Let’s take a look at three of the best places to eat in and around Scottsdale.

Café Monarch

It’s easier than you think to mistake Café Monarch for a cozy dinner at a friend’s house. Having said that, enjoying the three-course set menu at Café Monarch is very much a grand affair; some of the most delectable highlights include a starter of poached pear and brie that leads to an elegant main course, with the dining experience culminating in a rum cake bonanza, served with caramelized white chocolate. Main entrees are typically your choice of meat or fish. Café Monarch is home to two gorgeous dining rooms and a tree-filled outdoor patio.

El Hefe Super Macho Taqueria

El Hefe Super Macho Taqueria is not your average taco joint. Just ask Ryan Hibbert, CEO of Riot Hospitality Group and owner of this newly established restaurant. Sure, they serve delicious little tortillas full of flavor, but they also boast the best Happy Hour, Tortas and Beer-Garitas. You might just have to try it to decide for yourself. How would someone describe El Hefe? Think Dia de Los Muertos – but with style. Have you ever tried a beer-garita? Come in, be charmed and leave full. At El Hefe, they dish up all kinds of tacos, including Pork al Pastor, Braised Beef, Chicken, Carne Asada and more. They don’t stop there – you can also add an entrada (appetizer), torta or finish off the meal with a dulce (dessert). Furthermore, El Hefe has some of the best Margaritas ever sipped. Grab one, or a beer-garita, frozen marg, or a delicious beer of your choice.

After being shut down for four months, the Taqueria reopened after New Year's Eve in 2017. The renovations included a contemporary look complete with digital LED walls and digital menu boards. The restaurant and bar have garnered numerous awards since opening in 2011.
