pie pumpkin with apples
The month of November denotes the beginning of the holiday season.  Our thoughts turn to family and friends around a Thanksgiving table laden with turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry jam and pumpkin pie.  The photo to the right is a Pie Pumpkin Stuffed with Apples and Cranberries. If you haven't tried this, you will want to make it an addition to your holiday meal as it is so perfect for this season.

Another seasonal favorite is
squash stuffed with
couscous, tomatoes, cheese, nuts and seasonings.
Whether you use the traditional recipes that have been around for many years, or the newer versions, your family is sure to enjoy your meal. And both of these squash recipes are perfect for your vegetarian diners.

tenderloin_filet Located in the Okanagan region of Washington State in the Pacific Northwest, the Double R Ranch Co. offers beef that is hand selected and perfectly aged. Their beef is graded by the USDA for consistency and quality. Each Double R Ranch Co. steak is perfectly aged and then hand cut to exact specifications. Steaks and roasts include tenderloin, ribeye, filet of strip loin, tenderloin roast and ribeye roast.  They also have a cap of ribeye, known in the beef world as the Spinalis Dorsi, and sometimes referred to as "beef butter."
