Recipes from Dorothy Huang's Cookbook Chinese Cuisine Made Simple  

Dorothy Huang is THE Chinese food expert in Texas.  She lives in Austin but has taught Chinese cooking classes all over the state, from Central Market in all the major cities, such as Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, and the small rural towns, where her students are anxious for a steady stream of her fabulous recipes. Dorothy has traveled all over the U.S. teaching her eager students the nutritional value of Chinese food.

She published her first cookbook, Dorothy Huang's Chinese Cooking, in 1980 and that cookbook has been reprinted six times. Her second cookbook, Chinese Cuisine Made Simple, was published in 2004. A native of Canton, China, Dorothy's recipes are authentic and easy to make. The many color photographs in the book help make your experience easy and fun. She has also assisted in the opening of restaurants by training the chefs, creating menus and helping outfit restaurant kitchens.
