Jackfruit is a meat substitute that grows on trees in India.  It actually is a fruit but it is not sweet. 
Anything you would do with meat can be done with jackfruit instead as it has a meaty texture.  This product is sustainably sourced, an excellent source of fiber, low in calories, soy-free, gluten-free and nut-and-dairy free.
