A recent small study at the University of Cologne, Germany showed that eating dark chocolate can lower your blood pressure. The report in the Journal of the American Medical Association charted 13 adults who ate 3 ounce chocolate bars for 2 weeks.

Italian journalist Carlo Petrini founded the international Slow Food group in 1989 in response to the opening of a McDonald's in Rome's Piazza di Spagna. Slow Food (Arts and Traditions of the Table: Perspectives on Culinary History) is his story.
