This South of Market restaurant is popular! Go early for good service. Beer and wine are offered with a large assortment of sushi. Enjoy sitting at one of the sushi bar seats or at a table---the food is the same. Stylish decor includes velvet walls with black trim, suspended television sets featuring Japanese animation films and colorful Japanese Manga art. And all this is enjoyed to a backdrop of either acid jazz or dance music. Each month the chefs try new items for their regular customers, such as ostrich and emu. Their menu is not designed to be traditional, but to be a fusion of both old and new, in both the East and West. From the size of the crowds, they are certainly doing this well!
