Noodle Kugel

Serves 16

1 lb. medium noodles

½ lb. cottage cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
½ lb. butter
1 cup sugar

1 cup sour cream
6 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. vanilla
22 oz. milk
⅔ cup raisins


Cook noodles. Drain well but do not rinse. While hot add 2 cheeses, butter, and sugar. When the mixture has cooled a bit add the sour cream and the eggs. Put the vanilla in the milk and add to the mixture, with the raisins.

This can be cooked in individual muffin tins. Butter the tins well or use paper baking cups. Or use two 2 quart casseroles that have been buttered well before adding the mixture.

Bake 1 hour at 375º

If made to be frozen, do so before baking.

Serve with sour cream.
