1 large loaf sourdough French bread
(or 2-3 small bagettes)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 oz. smoked salmon, thinly sliced
1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
Red onion rings, thinly sliced
Black olives, sliced
Freshly ground black pepper
Warm the French bread. Slice lengthwise. Spread each half with softened cream cheese. Layer salmon, cucumbers, onions, olives and watercress as desired. Grind black pepper over all. Close and slice diagonally.
Serve with Schramsberg Brut Rosé
