Brunch at the Hotel del Coronado
If you find yourself near San Diego, California on a Sunday, there is an experience not to be missed. Hotel del Coronado, situated along 28 oceanfront acres, is an elegant example of Victorian architecture and is considered one of America's most beautiful resorts. The Del completed a $55 million restoration in 2001, which has resulted in brand new oceanfront dining, redesigned and air conditioned Victorian rooms, a new bar and retail venues. A grand lawn now reconnects the beach and ocean to the Victorian Building. But the Crown Room, home to the brunch, has changed little in many years.
